The two images are interior installation views from Harry Anderson's February 1980 exhibition at Swarthmore College, Swarthmore, PA. Shown in the top image, on the left is an installation of Fiesta dinner plates. The main elements of the center work are ceramic cornucopias. To the right are three of Anderson's early illuminations on the floor and on the wall a piece made from the shards of broken Fiesta and linoleum.
The second photograph shows on the left a Grid of plastic cameras, in 1981 Anderson will use the installation documentation of this piece in his artist book, AN OBJECT SCENE IS THE OBJECT SEEN. On the right Fiesta ware is again the material the work is composed of and in the center tacked to the wall is one of Anderson's photographs.
