Harry Anderson first exhibited with Washington D.C.s' legendary art dealer, Henri in 1972. From 1978 until her death in 1996 he exhibited annually at her gallery just off of DuPont Circle at 21st. and P St.s. Each year beginning in 1979 was represented by a letter, A in 1979 and Q for the last exhibition in December of 1995. As the works were all untitled each year Anderson would make sketches to identify the pieces being exhibited. After Henri’s death the originals went to the Smithsonian as per her wishes.
